ECHELON AQUAPHILIC (hydrophilic accelerator)
Precautions
When using this product, please be sure to read the following precautions.
- When using this product, always wear safety glasses, a mask and gloves.
Because the product contains hydrogen peroxide, using it with bare hands can cause painful white spots. - Please use only with ECHELON Ver.3.0.
Other Zen-Xero products are not eligible. - Mixing ECHELON Ver.3.0 and AQUAPHILIC is strictly prohibited.
Aquamica liquid (polysilazane) reacts violently with water and alcohols, which are the components of AQUAPHILIC, generating heat and causing the polysilazane to decompose, generating silane gas (a flammable gas) and hydrogen gas, making it extremely dangerous to mix them.

ECHELON Ver.3.0 is Now More Beautiful and Completely Hydrophilic
AQUAPHILIC is a special hydrophilic accelerator developed to efficiently promote the formation of a hydrophilic coating on ECHELON Ver.3.0. It effectively makes the coating surface hydrophilic, significantly reducing the occurrence of stains such as water spots and deposits. It chemically reacts with the polysilazane coating of ECHELON Ver.3.0, oxidizing it in a short period of time and efficiently converting it into a siliceous coating that contains a large amount of silanol (Si-OH: hydrophilic functional group) components. This action forms a stable hydrophilic coating.

Since it is a hydrophilic accelerator exclusive to ECHELON Ver.3.0, it has a more reliable reaction than conventional hydrophilic finishing agents, and maintains a beautiful hydrophilic state with a low water droplet contact angle.
Highly hydrophilic for anti-fouling effect
The self-cleaning effect of the hydrophilic properties reduces the accumulation of dirt and prevents the occurrence of stains caused by uneven reactions with water droplets, as shown in the photo.
Chemical Changes Transform the Material into a Hydrophilic Material in a Short Time.
AQUAPHILIC reacts with the ECHELON Ver.3.0 membrane and oxidizes it in a short period of time. A chemical reaction converts the surface into a siliceous film that contains a large amount of silanol (Si-OH: hydrophilic functional group).
