Duplex Bucket (Double-layer mesh bottom)
Two layers of buckets you can use
These work buckets come as a set with an inner and an outer bucket. Leaving a sponge, sandpaper, or cloth in the buckets when filled with water will allow any fine dust produced during wet sanding to pass through the mesh in the bottom of the inner bucket and precipitate to the bottom. Simply remove the inner bucket to quickly and easily throw away the dirty water.

Duplex Bucket usage diagram
1
Nest the 2 bucket layers together and fill with water. Put in any sponges, sandpaper, or rags you use.
2
The inner bucket’s mesh bottom allows dirt to precipitate and pass through its holes and settle on the bottom of the outer bucket.
3
When the water becomes dirty, remove the inner bucket. The work items left inside are easily separated from the water.
4
Throw away the dirty water and rinse out the outer bucket before refilling it with clean water.
5
Put the clean inner bucket back into the outer bucket to continue using it at any time.
