A new standard for finishing dark colored vehicles
The final finish of dark colored vehicles is one of the most delicate polishing processes. How should swirling marks and holograms left by the initial and intermediate polishing processes be removed? That is always the question. SUPER PM7 Dark is a final finishing abrasive capable of achieving a mirror finish while also having an appropriate level of cutting power. Its formula of specialized alumina works well even on high-hardness paints. It is particularly effective for achieving a high-quality finish without swirling marks for dark solid paints such as Toyota's black solid (No. 202). In addition to rotary polishers, this compound can be used with gear-driven polishers for even greater efficiency in the final finishing process.
■ An exquisite balance of abrasive particles
When choosing a final finishing compound for dark colored vehicles, there is a tendency to focus on the fineness of the particles. Simply having fine particles, however, is not enough to achieve an ideal finish. The hardness and uniformity of the particles are also key factors in the quality of finish. SUPER PM7 Dark was developed with all of these factors in mind. In addition to using only high-quality specialized alumina for the abrasive particles, every aspect has been optimized to deliver an ideal finish for dark colored vehicles. For example, it has only the minimum cutting force required to eliminate any remaining swirling marks, and the fineness and uniformity of the particles prevents new swirling marks from occurring.

■Relationship between abrasives and polishers
Polishers and buffing pads are essential when using abrasives. The cutting force and gloss provided by an abrasive will vary depending on what polisher or buffing pad it is used with.
Results will also vary depending on the pressure applied to the buffing pad and the speed of the polisher. For that reason, the quality of the final finish will vary depending on the condition, habits, etc. of the person doing the work. SUPER PM7 Dark was repeatedly tested to ensure its compatibility with a variety of working styles. SUPER PM7 Dark has been designed to prevent the occurrence of swirling marks even when using a conventional rotary polisher, but for a still higher quality finish of dark colored vehicles, it can also be used with dual-action polishers and gear-driven polishers.
