Place the Elcometer on the measurement spot and press the measurement button.
Move the Elcometer over the measurement area, and the gloss level will be automatically read at the specified speed (10-180 readings per minute), with the measurement values saved in memory.
This mode allows you to quantify the uniformity of a surface. By moving the Elcometer over the measurement area, it scans at a rate of 10 times per second. After scanning, the gloss measurement values are displayed as the average, maximum, and minimum values, and saved.
