Transparent Anti-Shatter Film Series
This transparent film offers the most in-demand feature of architectural films: glass shatter prevention. This is our most basic film, combining outstanding cost performance with quality. Of course, it meets the JIS A5759 standards for anti-shatter performance.
What methods are used to evaluate anti-shatter films?
Under the JIS standard (JIS A5759: "Adhesive Films for Glazings”), two test methods are used to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-shatter film in preventing shattering. There are two test methods: Method A (the shot bag test) and method B (the interlayer displacement test). At present, passing just one of these tests is sufficient to meet the JIS standard, but originally, both had to be passed. It is still customary to carry out both tests today.
