Although a vehicle’s interior tends to be viewed as removed from the exterior, the former in fact uses a wider variety of materials than the latter. Among these, the seat accounts for a large share of the area and comes into direct contact with the user, making it easily dirtied and quite prominent. Seat fabrics can be largely categorized into fabrics (cloth) and leather. Fabrics can be further categorized by the fibers making up the material and the fabric product made from it.
