Product Description

The Elcometer 480 Model T can quickly and accurately measure and record gloss, reflectance (%), and haze values on a wide range of materials, including not only painted surfaces but also plastics and metals. It offers three measurement angles: Single, Dual, and Triple. The triple angle model, in particular, provides the most accurate measurements from three simultaneous angles. It also features excellent functionality with USB and Bluetooth connectivity for PC and smartphone integration.

Three Measurement Modes

Standard Mode

Place the Elcometer on the measurement spot and press the measurement button.

Auto Measurement Mode

Move the Elcometer over the measurement area, and the gloss level will be automatically read at the specified speed (10-180 readings per minute), with the measurement values saved in memory.

Scan Mode

This mode allows you to quantify the uniformity of a surface. By moving the Elcometer over the measurement area, it scans at a rate of 10 times per second. After scanning, the gloss measurement values are displayed as the average, maximum, and minimum values, and saved.

Memory and Batch Function

The built-in memory can store up to 40,000 data points across 2,500 batches. Measurement data can be transferred to a PC or mobile device via USB or Bluetooth®, and the results can be easily generated using the ElcoMaster® software.
